Lienard Home
It was in 1900 that Alfred Lienard, a flax scutcher from Flanders, founded the firm which bears his name. During the 30's through to the 50's, his son became a flax tradesman and established important contacts with local yarn spinning mills.

When Guy Lienard became managing director of the family company, he realised that the future of linen lay beyond the borders of France. He decided to develop markets in Southern European countries and South America, and thus extend the company's potential.
In the 80's Bruno Lienard created an opening in the Eastern and Asian markets, generating new ideas and new projects.
He also began to use linen for more technical outlets. More recently, the world economical globalization has generated new partnerships with the main linen producers and consumers.
